NIS Displays
NIS Displays is behind those cool retail merchandise displays in places like Home Depot. The company plans, builds, and supports all sorts of commercial installations across the United States.

Their primary goal with this website was to allow their clients to track jobs as they were in progress, complete with photos and notes from the project leads. In order to do this, they needed me to build a job management system that allowed Scott, the company's owner, to dynamically create and manage new projects and users and upload photos. We also had to build a user system that was password protected, ensuring that unauthorized users couldn't see a potentially confidential project before it had rolled out.

The most prominent features of this site are:
  • Job Management Feature
  • Password-Protected User Area

Ennui Design was charged with building the site from the ground up, including:
  • Concept Planning
  • Graphic Design
  • Page Layout and Interface Design
  • Information Architecture
  • XHTML Markup
  • CSS Coding
  • Compatibility Testing
  • Front-End Programming
  • Back-End Development
  • Search Engine Optimization

This site was built primarily in PHP, and also utilizes MySQL, XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
